Friday Finds: Console Designing Made Easy

Friday Finds: Designing your console

Accessorizing is one of the things that trips people up on their design journey.

Accessorizing is important—it finishes the space and can infuse color and personality into your home. I think there is a misconception that you need a lot of pieces when styling a space, but it doesn’t need to be complicated.

I’ve pulled together a console look for the week’s Friday Finds.

It’s as simple as:
-a console to fit your space
-a mirror or piece of art
-a lamp or a pair of lamps if the console is large
-a stack of books
-an object on top of the book stack
-flowers or greenery

You can change this look to suit your tastes and home. Simply changing the lamp and books can give you a completely different color palette and look.
